It has come back. It has come a long way in the past six months. In due time I think it will be back to where it was 4-4.5 years ago. It has gotten a bad reputation. The facility overall has gotten run down in the past few years. I think they are on the right track to get things in order.

If money is an issue then The Neighborhood would be a great place. They aren't as expensive as some of the higher-end assisted living facilities. It doesn't have some of the amenities that the other assisted living facilities have.

The activities make me less likely to recommend the Neighborhood. If they could be improved upon, the Neighborhood would be a much more vibrant community for my loved one and everyone else's.

It is a like a home-town feel. My mom appreciates that it is not high-tech or fancy. It is not cold and sterile. It is warm and inviting. The staff is helpful and friendly. everyone is nice to her. She likes the food and company there.

I am getting back to where I will recommend it. There was a point in time where I was ready to walk out the door, and not recommend it to anyone. It is getting back to where it was. It has some good and bad features. There are certain things you need to watch, like the cleanliness of the rooms. The food for the most part is very tasty. There is a wide variety as well. For the most part, the staff is very courteous and caring. There are a few that you should watch out for.

It's quaint, cozy, and decorated very nicely. They decorate for all the holidays. Everyone is cheerful, and all the residents seem happy.

It's a very friendly community and it's well-suited for a resident that does not want or need many accommodations. It's easily accessible as well and everyone on staff is great and they are wonderful with getting to know the residents.

I like the size of the community, it is not too big. They are friendly, kind, and attentive. Lynn, the nurse, is amazing. The size is a real bonus.

The location is great, the staff is great, attentive, and they always answer questions, but they do need more staff. It's a very nice facility and it's not overcrowded like some other facilities.
