It's a great community. I feel safe there, and I have met a lot of nice people. Everyone that is in charge has been very cordial.
They are very welcoming and very attentive. My mother feels safe, and I feel like she is safe there. The place is so clean. The cleanliness of the place is the second most important to me after being safe. They always welcome you when you walk in, and they know our names. They make you feel like your whole family is being taken care of, not just the resident, by keeping us involved and aware of what's going on. They know who my mother is. She is not just a room number, and that means a lot to me.
As far as value for the money, her safety, and feeling safe having her there, I would recommend it. It's a good value for the money.
My Dad was there 6 years ago and was treated well until he passed. Mom is there now, and she's treated very well.
Generally speaking, I would except for the food.
It's a compassionate community with a very caring medical team.
It's a pretty good place to come to get support as you get older and need it.
The staff is really nice. The rooms are really nice and clean. They seem to follow all protocols that need to be followed at this time.
I have full faith in the leadership; they do a great job. The community is clean, and it's in a great location. Anywhere you go, you are going to encounter challenges, but the challenges here are easier to overcome than in some other places. The maintenance staff is terrific. They did a great job getting my mother's room ready for her to move in. When there have been any issues, they have come in with a good attitude and resolved them. They have a great staff and don't have continual staff turnover like most other places. They seem to have steady employment with their staff, so it's not a revolving door.
My husband and I would choose to live here when the time comes. The two of us could easily live here. There are several couples that live here together.
It gives you peace of mind. It's open and transparent. They take care of a lot of the management that used to take up my whole day.
The staff is friendly. They look out for the residents. It's very close and convenient for me to come and check on him if I need to.
It is a great place. He has found friends and it is safe. It has been a really good fit for my father in law.
They have a group of caring staff members that take care of the residents with enthusiasm.
Everybody is friendly and they take good care of people. It is pretty, nice, and there is always stuff going on. There are lots of flowers.
Everyone is a very nice and great to work with. It is a nice little community that seems to care.
The community addresses each individuals' needs, and they have a range of care that they can give.
It is very nice. It is hard to get things done around here, especially with maintenance. It is not all their fault because it is hard to get help. It would be better if they hired more people.
It's clean, and the staff does what they say they're going to do. They take care of your problems and answer all of your questions.
It is clean. The staff is always around if you need them. I know my mom has been happy here.
They take good care of my Mom. She's happy there.
It is a very nice community. It is very friendly and all the residents are friendly. The activities director is there to get you involved.
I would recommend them. Our experience has been very good. We had my mom in a different facility, and we did not feel welcome or comfortable with her there. We put her here, and it has been the complete opposite. They give me peace of mind.
It is a very friendly and clean place. The staff are very attentive, and the security is very alert.
It is very very very nice.
They have activities, and they are nice. They take good care of my mom. I am sure they will take care of your loved one.
I would recommend it to anyone. The community is probably as cost-effective and well-managed as any business I have ever seen.
If you are local, I have no qualm about recommending them. If you are relying on telephone communication, I do not know if I would not recommend it. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have different care packages with different levels. They are more concentrated on the person living there, which is a good thing. Everyone seems happy and very content with being there.
Overall, they do a good job. It pretty reasonably priced. It seems to be a good community.
The community is very nice and clean. The cottages are well-kept. It is really enjoyable to live here because you feel comfortable. You do not have any worries about anything. If you do have a problem, they try to get it fixed right away.
We are enjoying the community and the cost is modest, we have a lot of good neighbors and they offer good activities but there are a lot of things that could be improved.
I am not likely. This is nothing to do with the facility. The staff is friendly, and they do seem to genuinely care for my loved one. They communicate with me in a timely manner.
I highly recommend it. You get good care and good people who seem to be wanting to take good care of you. They make you feel comfortable here.
We have been totally pleased with the staff and the facility itself. We like the care that my mom gets. I really do not worry anymore about her. I know she could still fall, but eyes are on her. They check on her often, and they seem to know all of the residents well. They would notice if she was not somewhere she was not supposed to be.
It's a great community and they look after my needs very well. They help me deal with whatever situation that may arise.
My mother has been much happier since she's entered the community, she's made lots of friends and enjoys it there.
I like the size. Residents feel like family here. They can't get lost. The people that live here look happy and alert. Every time I have come, there are always people around. It is not hectic. It has a nice active-feel. Everyone is friendly.
They are pretty much on the ball. They are as best as they can be.
For the most part it's a good place. It's clean and bright and they offer a lot of activities.
It's a great community with friendly staff and I think it has a great location. It's very well kept as well.
The community is like a family. Once you get to know the other residents it's like you are part of one big family.
Don't have doubts about it. You will see after a week or two, they let your loved one ease out of their shell and they encourage them to socialize. My mother having other people her age to mingle with has definitely improved her quality of life.
The community is a good place and the staff cares about your loved one.
They seem to have caring people over there, but they do need more of them.
I like the location, people, and the rooms are great at the community. Overall I've had a good experience and it doesn't look like a nursing home.
It's a cute community with people that are very helpful, kind, and involved. It's all that for a reasonable price.
They watch out for you and take care of you.
It's clean, it's friendly, and they have a caring staff. They're friendly and helpful when I stop in, and they seem to really care about my mom.
It's an awesome place to be, everyone there is friendly, I'm so happy with how well they treat my father and other residents, and all interactions are professional.
They take care of the people, but the food sucks. Other than that, she gets bathed and taken care of. They give her medications on time. They do a great job, but the food is worthless.
When my dad moved in, they renovated his room with new carpets and paint. The apartments are nice and renovated before you move in so it has a new feel to it. The housecleaning once a week is really nice. They do their work and also interacts with him. They have a friendly staff.
We've had a great experience, it's a great place to take a loved one because from what I've seen they demonstrate care and concern for the residents. It's clean, well-kept, and very friendly.
I'm considering moving another family member here because I love it so much. The community offers a lot of activities and events for their residents. They have a great staff as well.
The pricing is more reasonable and the quality of care is great.
I can sleep at night knowing my mother is okay and taken care of.
The community is friendly.
The people and the workers are generous and friendly. I haven't had a bad day here. They need to upgrade the bus to more than twice a week and the bus is difficult to get on with the stairs. They need to get either more drivers or more buses so they don't have to cut outings short to get back.
They are nice, friendly, have lots of events, and keep the residents busy if they want to be.
I have concerns about the type of care and attention that the loved one is receiving as well as the qualifications of the staff to provide that care.
They have exceptional care, and we are satisfied with our experience there.
It is a very caring community, and it is very clean.
It was clean, well organized, and a well managed facility.
The people are friendly and it is clean.
Everyone is really nice, they take good care of Mom, and she has adjusted well.
Everybody is very nice!
We live in a duplex and we love that. It is quiet and you can be as friendly as you want to be. It is a nice place and a great value for what you pay.
If they are active and self-sufficient, they will be great here. If they are dependent on med techs, I would give them a warning. They may be understaffed. The training could be better in dealing with patients.
The service is a variety of different ages. All needs are met and they always make sure the residents are taken care of. There is a really good system they have going on over there.
The staff are caring and listen really well.
Seems well staffed, friendly, and they seem to care!
The staff is really friendly and residents always speak highly of the property. The options of facilities are great and they have a large population of older people and it is very nice.
That it's very quiet and the apartments are beautiful. Everyone on staff is very friendly.
I would say don't look anywhere else. They are the best and top of the line. You're not charged a large amount of money per month because they know families need help.
That it is a very nice community and the staff is caring.
I was actually going to write a review. I would recommend it to anyone. I would highly encourage anyone to make the decision. It is has been so much better for her.
I already have. I would tell them it is better than other places and they can not get any better quality of service. They respect all residents there.
I would tell them the house maintenance sucks and the food basically sucks. Everything else is good and they take care of you.
I have talked to different people about how my mom is settling in very well.
It is very nice. The people and rooms are very nice. It has been very enjoyable
It is reasonably priced. We moved my mother in the middle of Covid, and they have done a good job addressing things and working through protocols. They are respectful when I have talked to them about everything, but not as responsive as I like.
Everybody has been friendly. He seemed to fit right in when he showed up. They do a good job at looking over people.
It is convenient for me. It is a nice group of people that work there and keep they place clean.
It is an all inclusive and they take care of room, laundry, and food.
I would probably give the caveats that there are issues with this and that to those who asked about The Retreat at Loganville, but give them the good points as well. It is close by, and most of the staff are pretty good, but there are a few who aren't quite as good.
I have already recommended it to someone.
I am in the independent cottage. It is a nice situation, and they try. You have to stay on top of it.
I think it is quaint, close by, quiet, and there is not a whole lot of traffic nearby. I can hear and see the birds. It is calming, and it is a nice facility.
They have very friendly staff, and it is a nice surrounding.
They care about the residents. They help the residents, and they really try their best to go to lengths to provide the best care they can.
I have already recommended it. You do not ever have to worry about the care. It is the most important thing.
I would for sure recommend The Retreat at Loganville to friends and family. It's a great place for what they do.
I believe that more communication, care to diet, and the quality of food needs to improve. At this point, I wouldn't recommend The Retreat at Loganville to friends and family.
I have already done that and two people have gone over there because of me.
They are doing a lot of remodeling. There are no places for the residents to visit because what used to be the living room has been changed. They keep saying that it is going to be fixed. There is a new room that is small in the front and they are adding some type of garden room to the back. They have moved the receptionist desk as well. It has been such a mess for so long. There is no place for the residents to visit or gather. We are waiting to see how long it is going to take them to finish it.
I have had friends and family members there and we do not have any complaints. Along with my step mom herself, she does not have any complaints. This place is a friendly and caring environment.
The level of care that they are given is great. They are doing lot of remodeling so the building looks nicer and more updated. Theres a lot of great activities around the building daily and they plan a lot of things for them to do. I would recommend the facility to a lot of people because I know what they are capable of and I know that they provide exceptional care to their residents.
Comparatively speaking to communities in the surrounding area, I believe that from what I observed, the value and the price is very competitive and good in that regard. I have not had any specific issues with the quality of care.
The construction needs to be over with because it is during COVID, and there is already enough going on.
I would have to talk to my mother about it since she is living there.
I would recommend them because of the amazing staff they have there.
I would recommend them because of how satisfied we are with my mom being in the facility. They do everything great and have the best communication. When there are any type of issues they call us right away. I have had a problem with a different facility in the past and I can proudly say that the Retreat at Loganville tops the rest.
I would recommend them for their care that they provide. The value for the money is great. They staff is very sweet and easy to talk to. I enjoy how they treat my parents and think of them as family. We feel as if they are in a safe and friendly environment with lots of things to do.
It is expensive.
I am going to be leaving as soon as I can find a house to move to.
I would recommend to anyone asking because we were not able to find any place as good as the retreat. They have the best staff and treat my Dad like family. We are real happy to be where we are. We have never had any issues with them. They have done everything that we have asked for and I appreciate everything that they are doing for their residents.
I am very satisfied with the care they gave my mother.
The Retreat at Loganville is expensive.
Not right now I would not. I understand there are COIVD issues, but there are issues like the food that they are not dealing with.
I have recommended The Retreat at Loganville several times. They take good care of the people there, and they are very friendly.
I think it is a good place. My mother used to be here and they treated her so well, so that is why my brother is there. I just think it is a good organization.
Some of the staff members are very helpful, while there are a few who are not. I would like to say that getting in touch with the nurse is frustrating. I used to be able to call Misty because I had good communication with her, but she is not there anymore so I am sad about that.
My mother has been there for 6 years and we are very satisfied. The care she is provided is great.
I do not know that I would recommend because of the Pandemic and policies that they are having. Six months ago I would have. It is isolating for them and they get so bored. I understand that all of the facilities are having these policies but I think all of them deal with it differently.
I would recommend, because I think they really do care about their residents.
I love being able to live here. The grounds are nice and very clean. It is quiet and safe. We consider the price to be good based on the care we are given.
I would recommend, because it is a safe place for your family to be and it is a beautiful facility. I would be a little more hesitant because there is no diversity. My mom is one of 2 ethnic people there. I see a lot of diversity in their staff but none with the residents. They need to have more diverse residents for me to not worry about this being an issue. All in all I think it is a very beautiful facility and my Mom gets great care.
I have definitely told others about the Retreat at Loganville. I tell them that my mom was in a different nursing home for a while that was terrible. I can compare the 2, and The Retreat at Loganville is so much better than the place she was before. I can't even compare the 2, and I am so very happy that she is no longer at the other place.
My granny has been there for 3 years now and we have never had any issues. She really loves the people there.
The Retreat at Loganville was a great place at one time. They were very friendly and caring, but now they have hired people that are just looking for a paycheck.
The Retreat at Loganville is really clean inside. We looked at 12 before my wife went there. Financial wise, it is average. It is not cheap, but it is not terribly expensive.
I love the people there. I know they have lost a lot of people due to turnover. The ones I deal with are very good and helpful, but I wish they did not lose some of the ones they did.
I have recommended The Retreat at Loganville before. The people are nice, they give good service, and when I have a question they give me an answer.
Yes, and I have.
Yes, I already have given referrals and will continue to do so.
I'd like to see improvements in the quality of meals and the cooking.
I believe that the majority of resident care people really do care about them. They're very attentive and care for their needs, which is most important.
I would put my loved one there again if I had to choose again.
Yes I would recommend. The staff are all amazing and will do anything for you at any time. My mother is very happy there as well as my whole family.
Yes I would. I don't have much interaction with them, but I have yet to have any issues. The care they give my mom is great and because she has dementia I can't talk to her, but the staff keep me up to date on what is going on.
I can't think really think of any improvements in particular.
We don't like to pressure anyone, but if they ask if we like it we would give them our input on how much we enjoy living here.
The courtesy and cleanliness are exceptional. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff.
Overall all the workers, med techs, everyone has been great and I have no complaints.
The staff is friendly and attentive, it is clean and they get serviced very well there.
I am actually trying to get one of my mom's sisters to look into the villas or cottages there right now. She is getting to the age in which she doesn't need to live on her own because she is in a split level home and does not need to deal with the stairs. It is a good facility, and there is good care.
She was near death when she got there because she wouldn't take her medicine or eat her meals, and that has 100% changed since she's been at The Retreat.
I feel like it is a very caring staff; it is not just a storage facility. The staff actually care.
It's very clean, the staff is great, and the accommodations are great.
It's a quaint little community. It's clean and the staff is really nice. It's exceeded my expectations as far as a facility.
My mother was there 15 years ago. They have very class A people working there, they are very clean, they respond very rapidly, and they take care of personal needs. It is a wonderful place to be, and I have been associated with them all these years. Everything I hear from everyone else is always positive as well.
I would recommend The Retreat at Loganville . They are very caring, loving, and they have a lot of activities for the residents. They are a nice group of people and it is a good place.
It's a very attractive place and it's well maintained. Everybody is friendly, and the price is about as good as you can get these days.
The people there really care for the residents, and they do the best they can.
I think it is extremely expensive for the service that is provided. The amenities and attention to detail are not there for as much as I pay. I should not have to ask someone to take out moms trash, make her bed, or to make sure she is eating. They should offer education classes for the residents such as how to use the computer. I don't think they are accustomed to people of color, and they don't know how to do ethnic hair even though they have a shop there. The place is not as diverse, and sometimes that makes it uncomfortable for people to find their niche. There should be a little more social activities, and they don't do that nearly as much as they should compared to some of the other facilities we have been to. Everyone is really nice. My mom is one of the only black women in the community. I would like to see more bible studies from different denominations because it seems that it is only offered for one denomination. I would like to see a newsletter as well to see how my mom is doing. She has been there for a year now, and I have only gotten one progress report. The staff are defensive rather than collaborative. I feel like it is more of a hands off or care free model, not one that is really concerned about how the patient is improving. For $3,500 a month, the care should be more intimate, and they need more than one nurse.
All of the activities are good, and there is good leadership at The Retreat at Loganville.
I surveyed at least 12 places before I put my wife at The Retreat at Loganville. It is great. It is clean, the residents are well fed, they are well taken care of, and they have a schedule every week with activities and events. I have little complaints here and there because I go quite often and see things that most people don't see. For example her laundry will be done but some towels are missing. The next time I come, the issue will be fixed. I know that other places have the same problems, if not worse.
I recommend The Retreat at Loganville a lot. They need to improve the food, but the area and the people seem to be really nice there.
The people that they employed there were loving, they took care of my mom like I would, the facility was always clean, and everyone was always helpful . There was a young man named Michael. He was a maintenance man, but he would always come up and talk to us and check in on my mom. It was a wonderful experience for our family.
