If you just have a normal, elderly person that doesn't have Alzheimer's then it's a great place, or if you have a normal Alzheimer's catatonic zombie then it's also a great place. I think it would work for most normal people.

We have already recommended it. The staff who greet you and show you around make it easy for you to see everything. The place is very light there are lots of windows and there are nice views. The apartments are really nice and spacious. There is an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and a fitness room.

I would not, because I think the owners are in it for greed. They really don't care or have a standard that accommodates everyone here. If you don't fit into their criteria, then you're left out in left field somewhere, and they're not concerned about it. I think they're out of state and do a poor job of meeting the best standards for all of the residents here.

It might be a good place to go if you are looking for assisted living or an apartment, but I don't know if I would recommend memory care.

It's a really nice place, a really clean place. For the most part, the staff is friendly. If you are in independent living, there are all types of activities to participate in. They are more closed off if you are on the memory care side. Your only point of interaction is with the nurses, nurses aides, and the dining staff.

You have to be up there more than I am, and keep an eye on stuff to get to know the nurses. By the time you start to get to know them, they are gone. When you visit go at different times, to make sure that everything is okay.

It is not perfect and could be better. Look at everything that there is to look at. If you can be in independent, it is fantastic. They have roomy apartments and it is affordable. they have activities and it is in a good location. Some of the staff members have been there a long time. It is appealing. For the other levels of care, make sure that you participate in their care. You should stay engaged and communicate. If I have concerns, I can pick up the phone and call them.

My experience is in the assisted living area. The independent living experience is probably different. It depends on what part you will be in. The service here, with the exception of the erratic food situation, is good. The nursing staff is good and attentive. The CNAs and support staff are good. That is my experience.

It was really bad at first, but it has improved a lot. None of us residents believe this will last though, we think it will go back to the way it was. It isn't all of the staff that is bad, it's just some. It is just independent living as well. If your family member has any memory care issues, they should not be in independent living. They do not have enough support in independent. If you are truly independent, then I would recommend it. The residents seem to watch out fo reach other and take care of each other. We tend to remind people of things that are happening and encourage people to get out. Things like that. Once they move you in here, you're on your own.

The community is short staffed and the staff that is there doesn't seem to care. Different areas of the community are different. Assisted living is a 3 and adult living is a 5.
